I'm a writer and editor based in San Francisco, where I contribute regularly to the for the San Francisco Chronicle's Home and Garden section and NPR online as well as other publications, and copy edit for a financial firm.

Before moving to the Bay Area, I lived in Washington, DC, working for five years at Reuters, freelancing for local publications and throwing countless dinner parties.

I write about my culinary forays on my food blog; when I'm not hard at work perfecting copy, I'm usually in the kitchen, out for a run, exploring my native state, or with my head in a book.
